This Feels like the start of something special! Vibes were high across the Web3 world on Thursday as Yuga Labs, alongside Chimpers, HV-MTLs, and Geez, made their way to Amazon for a first of its kind digital collectible sale that may become the blueprint for a creator economy around the swamp.

On Thursday, the first round of Otherside collectible Feels emotes, featuring Blue the Koda, Chimpers, HV-MTLs, and Geez, officially dropped on Amazon, inviting Voyagers and normies alike to ape in.

“Stoked to bring community IP to @AMZNvideogames with Feels, expressive GIFs that pop above your avatar in Otherside to show your mood,” Yuga Labs tweeted.

In total, each Feels pack comes with 10 different emotes, ranging from sad with the Chimpers to ApeCoin rich with the Geez.

This Feels drop wasn’t just a major opportunity for Yuga Labs and the three community brands selling alongside them. This moody moment could help lay the groundwork for a creator economy on Otherside, one where builders have the tools, distribution, and discoverability they need to grow their communities and flourish onchain.

“Retail is becoming the front door to gaming again- just not the version we grew up with,” Amazon Business Development Lead William Morris tweeted. “The next wave won’t be won by “digital vs. physical.” It’ll be won by builders who connect discovery → purchase → identity → community in one loop. For gamers: seamless access + real value. For retail: storefronts that tell stories, not just stock shelves. For builders: new rails to ship content faster, test faster, learn faster. We’re moving from transactions to ecosystems. And the teams building for fandom + utility are going to win.”

As the Gazette previously reported, today’s Feels drop is part of Yuga Labs’ broader partnership with Amazon, first announced at ApeFest 2025. The initiative is a piece of the company’s larger plan to bring digital collectibles to the masses, which includes limited edition Voyager skins created in collaboration with artists and more.

“For all this to work, we need to grow, and today we announce that Otherside will be on the front page of Amazon Gaming,” Yuga Labs’ Michael Figge said at the time. “Amazon has over three hundred million users and we are going to be  selling digital assets to all of them.”

Following the launch, Amazon took to the timeline and said it’s excited to be working with Yuga Labs to bring community IP to the masses and help kickstart a new creator economy.

“Thrilled to support the launch of Community Feels on the Otherside Amazon store,” Amazon tweeted from its Gaming account. “Dropping today: sticker packs that bring community IP to life as emotes in the metaverse.”

The Gazette will continue to follow all things Feels and will keep you posted on what Yuga Labs does next with Amazon. Stay tuned for updates.
