FLAGS AND A FIT FOR THE SEA: The BAYC x King Saladeen Anchor Collection Comes Into View!

Run up the flags and get ready to ape!

On Thursday, Yuga Labs gave everyone their first look at the first collection from the club's new Anchors collections, with artist King Saladeen leading the way with looks that are putting the Yacht Club in the Bored Ape Yacht Club!

 

“The BAYC x King Saladeen Anchor Drop includes two exclusive apparel pieces, available in limited quantities with one more exclusive item coming out later this season,” the BAYC announced. “This drop also features a pair of burgee flags: one will be awarded to a raffle winner, and the other will be reserved for display at the future Clubhouse. Stay tuned for full release and raffle details.”

 

 

As the Gazette previously reported, the BAYC unveiled Anchors yesterday, a new series of limited edition collaborations between the club and artists, while also announcing that the first collection would be created with Philadelphia artist King Saladeen.

Saladeen is best known for his vibrant aesthetic and signature Money Bear character. Previously, he has worked with brands like Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce, and his work has been displayed at Art Basel events around the world and during NBA All Star Weekend.

With today's tweet, the community got its first real look at the BAYC x King Saladeen collection, including a nautical-inspired apparel piece featuring a reimagined Ape skull logo, a commemorative poster, and a glimpse of the rare burgee flags that will eventually fly high at both the IRL Clubhouse in Miami and one lucky primate's home.
