From Meeb to man, one longtime holder brought voxel vibes to life this week, reimagining pixelated peers as real people.
While NFT collectors old and new took over the timeline with their “Web2 me vs. Web3 me” posts, sharing photos of themselves alongside their favorite NFTs, Meebits Creative Team member S10 had another idea. Instead of asking who’s behind the screen, he wanted to explore what his and other Meebits holders’ avatars would look like in real life.
“I realized many in our community aren’t comfortable sharing their actual photos,” s10 said. “So I wanted to put a spin on that: since we already have these Meebit identities, why not see what they would look like in real life? It’s a way to shine a spotlight on the avatars themselves.”
The first Meeb S10 reimagined was Meebit #14701, a male character rocking a white hoodie, gold chain, camo pants, and a faded haircut.

From there, S10 and others began filling the timeline with their NFTs and their IRL twins. Take a look at some below:
“I’ve been curious to see the 'human' side of these tokens,” s10 said. “Seeing fellow collectors share their results has been the best part—it’s just fun to see everyone getting creative and celebrating their Meebs in a new way. I hope we see a lot more of them!”
Tonight, anyone and everyone can check out the IRL version of their Meeb using S10’s prompt: “Reimagine this voxel character as a photorealistic real-life person”
The Gazette will continue to follow all things Meebits and keep you posted on the latest trends taking over the timeline. Stay tuned for updates!
