From sea to shining teeth! A former naval dentist made waves around the swamp this Memorial Day after purchasing a laser eyed ape with a big smile that will soon represent his private practices!

On Sunday, Bored Ape Yacht Club member Jeremy purchased Bored Ape #5762 from fellow primate NoNameApes for 24 ETH, or roughly $50,000 USD.

Last night’s purchase was a long time coming for Jeremy, who’s been searching for an ape that better reflects his IRL identity as a dentist who also served his country in the Navy!

At first, he tried to make a deal with MachiBigBrother for his diamond grill grinning sailor ape, but Machi couldn’t let it go.

“Ever since I saw Machi’s diamond grill ape I have been on the hunt for the perfect ape for my dental branding,” Jeremy told the Gazette after his purchase. “I have wanted to incorporate a BAYC ape into my branding for a while, but hadn’t found the perfect ape yet.”

But Jeremy kept searching the floors and ceilings around the swamp and eventually came across Bored Ape #5762 yesterday, immediately knowing he had found the perfect primate for him!

“Saw this clean grin that had all the elements I needed and I had to have him,” he said. “The Navy striped tee to reflect my connection to the Navy, the clean grin to reflect my life’s work as a dentist, and laser eyes to show the technology I use everyday. I use lasers routinely in my work. And the orange background was a must have. My first mutant was orange background and it’s my favorite combo. I’m feeling inspired now and very happy with my purchase!”

The Gazette will continue to follow Jeremy as he incorporates his new ape into his practice and puts this primate’s pearly whites on full display. Stay tuned for updates!
