From the MoMA to the metaverse! Contemporary visual artist Daniel Arsham will soon make his debut in the Otherside with a collection of 300 Voyager avatars that evolve and change over time!

But before that, Yuga Labs took a moment on Tuesday to introduce Arsham to the community in an article titled “Daniel Arsham: the artist who makes time visible.”

In the post, Yuga Labs gives readers an overview of his practice, dubbed “Fictional Archaeology,” and how it makes his work feel both ancient and present.

Now, Arsham is bringing that “Fictional Archaeology” to Otherside with his 300 Arsham Voyagers, a new, limited edition Voyager robot skin designed by the artist that will come in three different types and evolve over time.

“These aren't static sculptures. They're avatars with a lifecycle,” Yuga Labs wrote. “Each one starts at its default Form and evolves through in-world quests: Fracture, Erosion, Ruin, and Rebirth.”

As the Gazette prevously reported, this Arsham × Otherside Voyager robot skin is part of a bigger “Voyager” initiative that Yuga Labs has planned, where it will collaborate with artists on different skins and aesthetics for bots in hopes of onboarding collectors from other niches into the world. The initiative was first teased at ApeFest 2025 in Las Vegas during Michael Figge’s keynote speech.

At this time, it’s unclear exactly when the Arsham × Otherside Voyagers will drop. However, we do know that the allowlist will open sometime next week, and that users’ NFT holdings and Otherside scores will play a role in determining who can mint.

The Gazette will continue to follow all things Otherside and will let you know when more information about the Arsham × Otherside Voyager becomes available. Stay tuned for updates!
