GAME ON: Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Can Get Their Primates 3D Rigged And Ready To Ape Into Fortnite And GTA!

Bored Ape Yacht Club members can now transform their JPEGs into 3D avatars and go ape in the world of Fortnite and Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto!

On Tuesday, PixelToPoly, a ParamLabs metaverse company that transforms 2D characters into 3D avatars, announced that BAYC and MAYC members can now $Ape into the company’s ecosystem and get their primates rigged and ready to build in Fortnite, battle in Grand Theft Auto, and pay for the transformation with $Ape!

“Happy to announce the integration of @ApeCoin to the Param Gaming ecosystem,” PixelToPoly tweeted. “Starting immediately, $APE holders can use ApeCoin as a payment method for our @PixelToPoly service, which allows users to seamlessly convert NFTs into game-ready avatars! Thanks @dim8765, ApeCoin Metaverse Steward for facilitating the process!”

“Happy to have facilitated the ApeCoin integration in PixelToPoly, the service allows you to bring to life any 2d image into an high quality 3D avatar,” the ApeCoin DAO’s metaverse working Group Steward Dim.Eth told the Gazette. “The cost is 199$ (or ApeCoin equivalent) and the lead time around 24 hours. The assets can be immediately integrated into AAA games such as Fortnite, GTA V, and more. A great way to play around with MAYC models at an accessible cost.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported Dim.Eth ran for the Metaverse Working Group position in December 2023 with the goal of getting communities outside of the Yugaverse to accept $Ape with the goal of making $Ape the coin of the broader metaverse.

 

“I want to help making ApeCoin the coin of Web3 and not only the  coin of the apes as it’s still too often considered to be,” he told the paper during his run for $Ape office.
