On Tuesday, Vora, a transmedia storytelling and gaming initiative, announced that its latest game, Molten Mayhem was live and that the Web3 community could now check it out and claim the project’s ‘Molten Shard NFT.’

“We're happy to announce that Molten Mayhem has officially been published in @FortniteGame,” Vora tweeted on Tuesday. “The hunt for the Molten Shards has is officially ON! Here's how to become eligible for Molten Shards NFT claim 1) Play Molten Mayhem 2) Take a screenshot below after defeating the main boss 3) Paste the screenshot in our "molten-proof" Discord channel The screenshot MUST contain your Fortnite ID highlighted in green below”

“Dive into the dark world of Molten Mayhem, where our cherished lands find themselves besieged by monstrous creatures who are depleting our precious resources,” Vora wrote on its Fortnite page. “Fight your way through hordes of abominations to clear corruption and restore the purity of the realm. You’ll need to defeat the boss to claim the Molten Shards, which are the key to activating the Cosmic Reactor and the Summoning that lies ahead.”

Following Vora’s Molten Mayhem announcement, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to the project to find out more about their Yugaverse inspired game.

“The design of the map is inspired by the Otherside,” they said. “So if Apes manage to get to the end I think they'll enjoy seeing the Otherside Molten-inspired castle which contains the final boss. We're also working on a battle royale version of this map which will be tied to prizes.”

Molten Mayhem is the third game that the Vora project has released in the last year.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the gaming company released ‘Flappy Koda,’ a Flappy bird inspired game where players doge and fart their way through obstacles 2022.

Then studio then released Dash-Bored, an endless runner style project where players run as a Bored Ape, sprint with a Mutant Hound, and fly via the power of Koda farts through mazes and obstacles in in June 2023.

“We’re gamifying the lore,” Vora’s founder previously told the Gazette.
