Garga Said That 2024 Will Be About Keeping The Club Weird& Finding Ways To Introduce People To BAYC

Since the beginning of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, one of the original objectives was to ‘cook up new ways to ape with our friends’ and Yuga Labs’ Co-Founder Garga reaffirmed that goal at ApeFest 2023!

On Saturday, Garga took the stage at the BAYC’s third annual ApeFest event in Hong Kong and told thousands of holders that 2024 was going to be about staying true to the club’s roots, keeping it weird, and finding ways to ape with more people!

“I think 2024 should be about exposing more and more people to what BAYC is really about out side of the club,” Garga said. “ whether that be collabs that have public arms like what we did with BAPE, which wont be so limited in the future hopefully. And also, stuff including games."

Garga went on to say that he and the team have been working on a new game mobile that will makes its debut in 2024 and that Apes, Mutants Dogs, and HV-MTLs will get the chance to ape in!

“I know we just wrapped up forge, and we’ve had something under our belts for a while here," Garga said. "So, we have a partnership on a mobile first cross platform game coming in 2024 that’s been in development for over two years. I think it’s pretty sick and I think we are going to have a lot of fun all together. And don’t worry, it's skill based and there’s no voting. And obviously Apes Doggos, HVs, and mutants are coming along for the ride. We’re stoked for that.”
