GM: Boring Brew's Is Serving Up 18 Yugaverse Inspired Coffees On Walmart's Website!
Boring Brew had the Yugaverse wired with caffeine and vibes this morning after the Bored Ape Yacht Club-inspired coffee brand announced that they had brewed a piping hot deal with Walmart to sell 18 Yugaverse NFT characters' coffees on the retail giant’s website!
Just when you thought that your morning cup of joe couldn’t get any more boring, Boring Brew, aped into a deal with Walmart to sell its coffee on its online marketplace.
“We're thrilled to introduce Boring Brew's Bored Ape Yacht Club-themed coffee to http://Walmart.com, by doing this we are blurring the lines between NFTs and the real world,” Boring Brew’s Barista Erod.Eth told the Gazette. “Being an example of the power of the IP and the creativity that holds each Made By Apes Brand in the community; and we are going to keep pushing it further by integrating more IP from BAYC and reaching new markets empowering NFTs.”
From a Dark Roast blend that perfect for drip coffee featuring BAYC member ShaneCultra’s Koda, Honey, to a light roast single origin featuring longtime BAYC member Dort.Eth’s Bored Ape #828, Boring Brew has a coffee and character that’s perfect for everyone!
“It's a very special moment to see your ape on a product that breaks into a mainstream storefront but when it's an incredible product like the coffee from @BoringBrew it makes it that much sweeter,” Dort.Eth told the Gazette.
Following this morning’s announcement, BAYC member Thomas aka HasThreeKids on Twitter, told the Gazette that he’s been sending his Ape’s coffee link to everyone he knows.
“The coffee is exceptionally good, and I’m not just saying that because I have an 8894 bag,” he said. “Seeing 8894 available on Walmart got me incredibly excited! Pretty sure I have sent the link to about 420 people!”
Along with serving up ‘exceptionally good’ cups of coffee, CryptoPunk holder Sergito, whose Punks are featured on a dark roast blend, told the Gazette that he’s excited to serve up some piping hot provenance to the masses!
“It feels like just the beginning,” he said. “We’ve been long term believers in the value of owning your IP, especially when it’s one from a collection with the provenance of Punks.”
