GOTTA PROMPT ’EM ALL: The Bored Ape Yacht Club’s BaronVonHustle Is Turning Primates Into Pokémon Cards!

From “Gotta Catch ’Em All” To “Gotta Prompt ’Em All!” Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebration has reached the swamp as Bored Apes are transformed into Pokémon style trading cards.

Earlier this week, Yuga Labs’ Social Lead and longtime BAYC member BaronVonHustle set off on a mission to be the very best like no one ever was by transforming his frens into Pokémon cards.

 

“Who wants a Pokemon style card,” he tweeted. “Post your  @BoredApeYC PFP below and I’ll see what I can do.”

 

 

Apes old and new filled the comment section looking to Pokémon-ify their primates, and Baron quickly got to work. Some cards featured full art rare designs, while others came through as holos. But every single one stayed bored, with some even featuring longstanding lore from around the swamp.

 

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Pokémon has surged in popularity with Apes and across ApeChain after Solana’s collectible marketplace Collector Crypt launched Slab on ApeChain, inviting everyone to spin the wheel and try to win rare Pokémon cards.
