Something is brewing at Fragment Studios as the company acquired its sixth Mega Mutant Ape and brought on a new noteworthy creative director.

Fragment Studios, the company behind the Applied Primate Engineering project, acquired Mega Mutant Ape #30001 and hired the insane primate’s former owner, Kode Abdo AKA BossLogic as the company’s new Creative Director.

“We are so proud to welcome Kode to the Fragment team, and the Mega Deathbot to our NFT collection,” Fragment’s founder PTM said in a press release. “Kode’s expertise and experience working with the highest level of entertainment brands, as well as his commitment and passion towards Web3, will prove invaluable as we look to push the boundaries in NFT storytelling and IP ownership.”

After joining the Fragment team, BossLogic, who has previosuly worked on Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame and DC Comic’s Black Adam, said that he’s looking forward to bringing Fragment studios stories to life.

“I am thrilled to be joining forces with the Fragment team and help leverage my experience towards the progression of their roadmap and storyline,” BossLogic said in a press release. “Fragment’s ambition to become the premier Web3 entertainment IP studio is one I believe in and can help accomplish.”

The Deathbot Mega Mutant ape is the second mega mutant that Fragment Studios has recently acquired. As the Bored Ape Gazette previosuly reported, Fragment Studios purchased Mega Mutant Ape #30003 AKA the Mega Noise Mutant for 1000 Eth or $1.3 Million USD on September 27th.

“Yep, we added Mega Noise to the @fragmentxyz team yesterday,” PTM tweeted on September 28th. “One of my all-time favorite Megas! Our friends at @yugalabs are becoming the @Disney of web3 and we want to build the next @MarvelStudios inside the Yuga universe. The Megas are the Avengers, of course.”

Prior to these two insane acquisitions, Fragment Studios revealed its Mega Gold Mutant Ape during the first night of Ape Fest 2022.
