Texas Hold ’em is coming to the Otherside soon, but for now, Yuga Labs’ Michael Figge and the team are keeping their cards close to their chest.

On Thursday, Figge stopped by the Bored Ape Yacht Club for this week’s Meet at the Clubhouse event, where he put on his best poker face when discussing cards coming to the swamp.
“Pokers coming very soon,” Figge said. “I think that’s a fun one. I’m going to sit on that one and let people find out about that.”
While Figge didn’t reveal exactly when poker will go live on the Otherside, he did share that the game has been rebuilt over the past year and a half since the Club’s charity poker event; where Captain Trippy won $45,000 USD for Made By Apes charity By Autistic, besting Garga, Gordon Goner, Tomato, Figge, Adam Weitsman, OSF, MachiBigBrother, and PP Man.
“it’s was a game that could be gamed so they reworked it so it’s not possible to cheat,” he said. "That's the goal."
According to Figge, the plan is to roll poker out in phases to ensure fairness, starting with play using fake money before introducing “other moves later.”
