Last Summer Round21 Collabed With The Bored Ape Yacht Club, Now They're Going On Shark Tank

Last summer, Round21 teamed up with the Bored Ape Yacht Club and released an NFT; fast forward to this week and Round21 is now entering the Shark Tank.

“Game On,” Round21 tweeted yesterday evening. “This Friday, round21 becomes the FIRST web3, NFT-centered brand to hit Shark Tank --- ushering in a new era of entrepreneurship!”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, on July 27th the BAYC teamed up with Round21 to send every Bored Ape Kennel Club holder an NFT basketball. This NFT gave apes the option to purchase a physical version of the ball for $100.

“Got a Club Dog,” The BAYC tweeted last summer. “Check your wallet. We’ve partnered with @weareround21 to send every wallet holding a BAKC doggo a special basketball NFT.”

At the time of this article’s publication, the physical version of the bored ape basketball is reselling for $495, according to StockX.

Round21’s BAYC collab NFT not only included the opportunity to purchase a physical bored ape basketball, but also the option to “to gain access to a second future sports item from BAYC and round21,” according to the company.

While it is unknown what the second item will be, apes are certainly looking forward to the chance to buy it.

If you’re interested in picking up the Round21 NFT and getting the opportunity to purchase their next BAYC collab item, the NFT’s floor price is .2 Eth or $562.

Be sure to watch Round21 on Shark Tank this Friday (3/4) at 8 p.m. on ABC.
