Early Wednesday morning, Notable BAYC collector Machibigbrother bought an M2 Mutant Ape and it’s insane!
Machibigbrother purchased Mutant Ape #27493. Mutant Ape #27943 is a six trait M2 cheetah fur ape with a black suit, blue beam eyes and a halo. Based on these traits, Mutant Ape #27493 is the 706th most rare mutant ape, according to Rarity Tools.
“Absolute unit of a mutant,” BAYC member Dfarmer tweeted. “Wow.”
Mutant Ape #27943 is not only insane, but also historically significant to the club. Mutant Ape #27943 is the M2 version of Bored Ape #8746. Bored Ape #8746 was one of the bored apes auctioned at Christie’s in September 2020 in the auction house’s “No Time Like Present” collection. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the rare bored ape sold for 9,610,000 HKD or $1,232,470 USD.
After this morning’s purchase, MachiBigbrother now holds 136 Mutant Apes, 56 Bored Apes and 59 Bored Ape Kennel Club Dogs, according to Etherscan.
