MASK ON, MARKET GONE: Shariq.eth Buys Up The Entire MaskequRAY Del Mundos Trait!

Like the man behind the mask, every sale has a story, and this one is a true mask off the market moment, as Shariq.eth bought all three MaskequRAY-wearing Rays from the Del Mundos collection.

From the day Del Mundos minted earlier this year, longtime NFT collector Shariq.eth has been a fan.

“What really drew me to the Del Mundos is the incredible human touch behind them,” he said. “The project took around four years to craft and is built from upcycled materials, which already gives it a deeper story and purpose. Each Mundo is handmade and then professionally photographed, and the masks have such a strong presence with their vibrant colors and expressive personalities.”

Among the Del Mundos’ 178 handmade traits, the three MaskequRAY face masked Rays stood out to Shariq, and he knew he had to have them all!

“The masks themselves are actually hand painted with beautiful color combinations,” he said. “In a space that’s often purely digital, that level of craftsmanship and physical artistry really resonates with me. I also love the joyful smile on the masks and knowing there’s a real human story and creativity behind them, almost like there’s a smile behind the mask as well from the original Del Mundo.”

 

Shariq purchased his first masked Mundo, Del Mundo #7993, on January 25th for 0.34 Eth  or $997 USD.

 

He picked up his second, masked Del Mundo #8064, just two days later for 0.45 ETH$1,357 USD.

 

 

And while the first two came quickly, the third was harder to get. Shariq had to wait more than a month before a fellow Del Mundo holder sold it to him for 1.05 Eth or $2,200 USD last Sunday!

 

“Owning all three felt special because it completes the trilogy of these extraordinary masks, and together they represent the full spirit and story of the Del Mundos,” Shariq said. “Rest is history and looking to hold them for long. People Powered Positivity.”

 

With these three Del Mundos, Shariq now arguably has the best Del Mundos collections in the ecosystem featuring all three MaskequRAYs, a Sting Ray, an airlock astronaut, and more.
