MONKEY BUSINESS: ApeChain's Jimmy NFTs Swing Into Top 10 For Daily Sales Volume Across All Chains As They Take Over The Timeline

Some serious monkey business has been happening on ApeChain this week after 10,000 Jimmy the Monkey-inspired primates were minted, $Ape holders started ape-ing in, and the project quickly moved into the top 10 in daily volume across all chains!
If you’ve been on Twitter since ApeChain’s launch, you’ve probably seen a Jimmy NFT on your timeline.
The Jimmy NFT project, inspired by “a quirky little monkey that causes havoc wherever he goes” and which “stems from the early days of BAYC, symbolizing both fun and camaraderie within the community,” according to the project’s website, has become a hot topic. With $Apes and Apes ape-ing in, its floor price has skyrocketed from 1 $Ape to 62.5 $Ape at the time of this article’s publication.
Longtime BAYC members like Rida have become Jimmy whales, with Rida even joking that he’s the MachiBigBrother of this collection: “I’m the Machi of Jimmy, lmao.”
ApeCoin Banana Bill Advisor Captain Trippy also tweeted that he’s keeping his eye peeled on Jimmy.
Jimmy’s are headed to 500 $ape, aren’t they,” Captain Tippy tweeted. “Still highly concentrated but I love these little dudes and watching closely.”
Since the Jimmy project’s launch, the dev team has been expanding the project’s website, adding a “FunHouse Resident Membership Card” generator that lets community members create a keepsake for their monkeys.
The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to the Jimmy project via Twitter to learn more about the team’s future plans but did not immediately hear back.
While nothing is confirmed, it appears the Jimmy project is planning something, sending out multiple tweets about “Jimmy Experiment #34.”
