It was an insane mutant Monday as this long time Bored Ape Yacht Club member sold his M1 gold fur mutant ape for 72.5 Eth or $228,000 USD.


BAYC member, Exitliquidity sold Mutant Ape #17856 to BAYC whale/ Opensea user 0x21fa for 72.5 Eth.


“So long you golden M1 stud,” Exitliquidity tweeted after the sale. “Happy to see you reunited with your OG gold ape. shoutout @cameronmoulene for facilitating the biggest NFT sale of my journey thus far and making the 2nd highest M1 sale ever. Bought this guy for roughly 19eth approx four months ago.”


Mutant Ape #17856 is a six trait M1 gold fur mutant with heart sunglasses and a guayabera shirt. Based on these traits, Mutant Ape @17856 is the 4414th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.





following the sale, BAYC members congratulated Exitliquidity on the insane sale. "what a way to celebrate mutant Monday," BAYC member AB3608 tweeted.


after the sale, Exitliquidity told the Bored Ape Gazette that the first thing he did after selling his gold fur mutant ape was to ape back into the MAYC.


"first thing I did not even two hours after the sale was jump right back in and buy mutant #1396."


Exitliquidity's new mutant ape is a seven-trait M1 blue fur mutant with a sushi headband and a biker vest.




"Going forward I think BAYC/MAYC's future is very bright and the $APE coin drop is really going to blast this thing into the mainstream like nothing else crypto/NFTs has ever seen before, Exitliquidity said. "So I don't plan on leaving the club any time soon."
