The Bored Ape Yacht Club has its first NBA Executive in the community after Philadelphia 76ers Basketball Operations President, Daryl Morey, aped in.

Morey confirmed his status as a member of the BAYC after he changed his Twitter profile photo to a Bored Ape.

Morey’s ape, is Bored Ape #9777. Bored Ape #9777 is a five trait cream fur ape with laser eyes and the unshaven bubble gum trait. Based on these traits, Morey's ape is the 375th most rare, according to Rarity tools.

Morey purchased Bored Ape #9777 for 7.5289 Eth earlier today, according to his Opensea account.

Morey is no stranger to crypto or NFTs, earlier this year Morey was all over NBA Topshot.
