As the crypto space is in full meme coin season, this Ape Improvement Proposal is asking the DAO to support a different type of rug!
AIP-215 titled “Eco-friendly Apecoin Carpets,” is an ecosystem allocation fund proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor ApeCoinCarpetMan.
In AIP-215, professional rugger ApeCoinCarpetMan told the DAO that he runs a company called Rich Class Décor and that he was commissioned by many in the web3 space to make carpets based on users NFTs.
“We make pure wool handmade carpets & were commissioned by a member of the YUGA community,” ApeCoinCarpetMan explained. “They absolutely loved our quality & suggested we should provide our service as everyone loves a quality product! This is how we decided to go fully into web3 space.”
As part of this CarpetMan’s journey into Web3, he is asking the DAO to allow him to use the ApeCoin Logo to design a limited edition $Ape rug that will be exclusively sold in $Ape!
“ I believe ApeCoin holders will absolutely love this limited edition ape coin carpet that is handmade from eco-friendly finest raw materials,” ApeCoinCarpetMan wrote. “We use wool that is imported all the way from New Zealand! To make it more exciting we will enable so Payment can be done in $APE as well. “
ApeCoinCarpetMan went on to say that his AIP will not cost that DAO anything and that he will charge buyers 123 $Ape] per ApeCoin rug.
The window to vote on AIP-215 opens tonight at 9 P.M. EST and $Ape holders will have until next Wednesday, May 3rd, to cast their coins.
