There is an Ape Improvement Proposal on the ballot this cycle that is getting a lot of attention on the timeline today, seeking $2.1 million USD to promote ApeCoin and ApeChain at six crypto events across Asia.
AIP-419 titled ‘Expansion of ApeChain Presence in Key Asian Events’ is an ecosystem fund allocation proposal written by ApeCoin DAO Contributor Mister Hype.
"This proposal seeks to extend the success of ApeCoin’s participation in WebX2024 by strategically leveraging our presence in the Asian blockchain market,” Mister Hype wrote. “Building upon the WebX sponsorship, we aim to enhance the visibility and adoption of ApeChain within the Asian blockchain communities through a comprehensive series of events, including IVS Crypto, Korea Blockchain Week, Token2049 Singapore, DAOTOKYO, ETHTOKYO, CoinFest Asia. These events will serve as pivotal platforms for showcasing ApeCoin’s innovations and fostering connections within the regional blockchain ecosystem.”
To showcase $Ape and ApeChain at these six events, Mister Hype wants the DAO to be a 'Gold+' level sponsor for each event, have an interactive ApeCoin booth, purchase speaker slots, pay for ApeCoin's logo to be displayed, host side events, and buy extra event tickets and flights for ApeCoin DAO contributors to attend.
