PASSED: The ApeCoin DAO Approved Of An AIP That Will Make It Easier For Apes to Meme!

On Wednesday the ApeCoin DAO approved of an Ape Improvement Proposal that will provide Apes with the tools they need to make high quality memes and share them across the metaverse!

The ApeCoin DAO approved of AIP-182 titled “The App to Create Visuals, Banners, Stickers, Memes & GIFs with your NFTs” by Bored Ape Yacht Club member Dan Dober.

“The rationale behind this proposal is to provide the community with easy-to-use tools to create visual content with NFTs powered by ApeCoin,” DoberDanny wrote in his proposal. “This is fully aligned with DAO principles to increase the utility of $ApeCoin and drive Web3 culture forward providing more social use-cases.”

As a result of AIP-182’s passing, the ApeCoin DAO will allocate $135,000 USD to Dober so he and his team can expand on the work that they have already done through their company, NFTLook.

After last night's vote, Dober told the Gazette that he and his team are looking forward to giving the community the tools to meme!

“Thanks for everyone who voted,” Dober told the Gazette. “A lot of hard work & building ahead, but there's no other way we'd rather go. We'll try our best to deliver the implementation as soon as possible! And even after implementing the proposal we'll continue working with ApeCoin DAO to expand the app and its' utility for the whole space. Thank you again! LFG.”
