The Normies NFT is anything but, and some may be leveling up soon!
Earlier this week, crypto artist Serc’s newest project, Normies, a collection of 10,000 onchain generative pixelated faces, launched, minted out, revealed, and took over the timeline as NFT enthusiasts, old and new, celebrated the art and a casual 3x.
“First i want to thank you all for the support, vibing with the reveal and DMs,” Serc tweeted this morning. “We did it together, with the help of every community, I have been in, each holder I have in my collections since 2021. Me and dev had sleepless nights to provide you best mint and reveal experience, and I think we did it.”
As Serc and his developer, YigitDuman, celebrate a successful mint, they aren’t stopping there.
Looking ahead, Normies holders will be able to customize their NFTs and make them anything but normal, by burning other Normies.
“Starting with 10K NORMIES, could sound high at this current market BUT; We are bringing something new and cool: Customization,” Serc said.
Users who want to customize their Normies will need to buy and burn other Normies to unlock pixel editing for their favorite Normie to make it their own!
“1. Buy a 600 pixel NORMIE, or use the one you hold, get 6 pixel edit feature,” Serc explained. "2. Go to your dashboard, select a NORMIE edit 6 pixels (remove 3 add 3, remove 6, add 6) it's up to you. 3. Save it on-chain, and you get your updated NORMIE.”
As the community waits for the onchain gamification to begin, holders can already get competitive.
Everyone is invited to participate in a Normie vs. Normie looks contest and help rank the best avatars here:: https://www.normies.art/pvp
