PONDERING PENGUINS!: Pudgy Penguins Give Mystery Box Holders A Choice, Burn, Ship, Or Rip!

Burn it? Ship it? Or rip it? That is the question in the huddle tonight after Pudgy Penguins gave its mystery box buyers three different ways to play their pengu prizes!

 

On Sunday, the flightless birds took to the timeline and announced that holders of the 7,245 Dyli mystery box NFTs can now either redeem  them for the physical prize inside or burn the NFT in exchange for a soulbound token filled with mystery and intrigue!

 

“Upon connecting to the claim page, you will be given the option to either redeem your Mystery Box for a physical box or burn it for a Soulbound token,” Pudgy Penguins tweeted. “Each Mystery box is redeemable 1:1 for either the physical goods inside or a SBT. This choice is final and cannot be undone.”

 

 

As the Gazette previously reported, the Pudgy Penguins Mystery Boxes on Dyli were first announced on November 28th, 2025, when everyone from the igloo to the swamp was invited to purchase a box for $99.

 

 

At the  time, the Pudgy Penguins teased that each box contains either a vinyl collectible, igloo apparel, unreleased items, a few special 1/1s, or other surprises!

 

 

Tonight, we don’t know what the Soulbound Token does, and that’s the point!

Pudgy Penguins mystery box buyers have until March 4th, 2026 to decide whether to keep or burn their box for the soulbound token, and until September 1st, 2026 to claim their physical items.
