QUIRKED UP: Quirkies Have Made Their Way To The Otherside And This Is Just The Beginning For The Brand!

From IRL streetwear to the onchain swamp, the Quirkies are officially on the Otherside and this is just the beginning for them in the world of $Ape!

On Thursday, a wave of OG Ethereum projects officially made their way to the metaverse, including the Quirkies, who are now invited to explore Otherside as the project’s mascot, “Kirk the Quirk.”

“Quirkies Avatars are Officially available on @OthersideMeta,” the project tweeted. “If you own an OG  @quirkiesnft you can NOW go play as a Quirkie in the OS This is the beginning for us working with @yugalabs @apecoin and  @OthersideMeta and we’re excited to be apart of it More to come for Quirklings and INX in the future.”

 

 

This move is huge for longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Quirkies owner Papii, who purchased the brand earlier this year.

“Well for us it’s a complete circle moment because my first true passions in NFTs were Quirkies and Bored Ape Yacht Club,” he said. “ So after the acquisition of Quirkies in September one of the first things that happened was the Ape co team, reaching out and congratulating us, which is when the conversation started. I believe the Otherside can be a huge central place for people to enjoy their IP and build community.”

 

Looking ahead, Papii plans to do even more on Otherside, saying he loves working with the team and BAYC members like Rida, who helped bring Kirk the Quirk’s avatar to life!

“Quirkies are very excited about the future AND expanding our IP and brand and being a part of the Otherside is a big step,” he said.
