Ready Set Wreck: Yuga Labs, Animoca Brands& NWayPlay Are Revealing Their Wreck League Game Tomorrow

While many have been wrecked during this bear market, Yuga Labs, Animoca Brands and NWayPlayNFT have been building their new ‘Wreck League’ game and are set to reveal it tomorrow afternoon!

Something is brewing around the swamp after Animoca Brands’ tweeted “Tomorrow.. @WreckLeagueHQ,” along with a graphic featuring their logo next to Yuga Labs and NWayPlay.

Following Animoca Brands’ tweet, Wreck League made its first post and shared a link inviting the Web3 community to watch their exclusive live event tomorrow at 12 P.M. EST.

After the game shared its link, they also opened their Discord server and teased a big reveal that the community will not want to miss.

“Attention all future players of Wreck League,” Wreck League Discord Admin Shnazzy wrote in the game’s server. “ Get ready everyone. Tomorrow, we’re hosting an exclusive live premier event fir Wreck League and YOU are invited to be a part of it. Be the first to witness everything that Wreck League has to offer and make sure to set your alarms so you don’t miss out.”

At the time of this article’s publication, we do not know what Wreck League is, but many believe that it’s the play to earn $Ape game that the BAYC and Animoca Brands’ first teased in December 2021.

This play to earn game was also teased by NWayPlay, which is part of Animoca Brands, in March 2022 when the company shared an image of Curtis enjoying a cigar next to two robots.

“We are super excited to be unveiling the teaser image of the P2E game we are currently developing with @BoredApeYC that will be adopting the @apecoin,” NWayPlay tweeted at the time.

The idea that Wreck League could be the play to earn $Ape game that was first teased in December 2021 was further backed up by Animoca Brands’ Chairman, Yat Siu’s quote tweet about the Mysterious game being powered by $Ape earlier today.

“Powered by .@apecoin @WreckLeagueHQ with @animocabrands @nWayPlayNFT @yugalabs $ape @OthersideMeta @BoredApeYC,” he tweeted.

The Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Siu for more information about Wreck League but he did not respond by the time of this article’s publication.

While Siu did not respond to the Gazette’s questions today, he has previously hinted that he and his company are in the process of building more content around the swamp such as Legends of The Mara, and the play to earn game.

“We are excited about our partnership with Yuga and are committed to continuing to contribute to the Ape ecosystem as a whole including more content and games,” Siu told the Gazette on April 3rd.

Further, Siu hinted that he and his company will be making more $Ape powered games after his term on the ApeCoin DAO’s Special Council ended earlier this summer.

“As an organization @animocabrands will continue to build and support @apecoin ecosystem including games that are going to support $APE and I look forward to being a contributor to the DAO alongside all of you, in the trenches as part of the community,” Siu tweeted on June 28th.
