While the weather outside is frightful, cold storage for your NFTs and crypto is delightful, and Boring Security wants to help you keep your Apes and Mutants safe in ApeCoin-branded Ledgers this ‘cold storage season!’
This Chrsitmas, Boring Security, an ApeCoin DAO sponsored public good that aims to keep Yugaverse community members safe and educated as they explore Web3, will be hosting Web3 Security essentials 101 classes for Bored Ape Yacht Club members in an effort to keep their Apes safe!
“One of our biggest shortcomings as a DAO is the lack of BAYC/MAYC holders taking our classes,” Boring Securuty tweeted. “We've seen four BAYCs lost to scams in the last couple weeks, and those are only the ones we know about. None of those holders even knew we existed. And yet, not a single one of our Alumni has ever lost an ape. Clearly we are getting at least half of the equation right. The trickle down effect of apes being scammed is huge. Money leaves our ecosystem, active community members often fade away, vibes don't go as hard, and other projects suffer too as a result.”
In total, Boring Security hopes to giveaway 100 ApeCoin DAO branded Ledger cold wallets to Apes who take their courses between now and February 10, 2024 (Lunar New Year).
