The swamp outside the Bored Ape Yacht Club looked more like Camp Crystal Lake as Web3 celebrated Friday the 13th with Jason Voorhees inspired art and scary memes.
From stocks to crypto, markets have been getting chopped up lately like victims in an ’80s slasher film. But on Friday the 13th, Apes, Del Mundos, Moonbirds, and more flipped the script, putting on the hockey mask and bringing some jump scare fun back to the timeline during some truly frightening times.
Even if recent market action has been painful, seeing collectors continue to create and share custom art through the highs and lows is a reminder of what keeps many people around the space in the first place, the community!
