SMILE AND APE!: The Popular KodaCam Selfie Feature Is Back On Otherside!

Smile and wave, Voyagers, smile and wave! From the swamp to the Nexus, everyone can now strike a pose and snap a selfie with ease after Yuga Labs brought back one of its most popular Otherside features!
On Thursday, Yuga Labs announced that the KodaCam was back in the Otherside and that everyone could start taking photos by themselves or with their frens.
“The latest Otherside update is live,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “Behold the return of the Kodacam.”
To use the KodaCam and snap some pics, simply log into the Otherside and press “K” on your keyboard.
From there, the screen switches to a camera view of your NFT, ready to snap a selfie. You can choose between a thumbs up or a wave, pick from 11 different filters, and position the camera to capture all your J-Pegs’ best angles.
After you're done taking pics, visit your photo gallery by pressing “G” and check out your shots. From there, you can either screenshot them to share on X or mint them on ApeChain for 5 $Ape.
Since the return of the KodaCam this afternoon, Crypto Twitter has felt more like Instagram with photos of frens everywhere!

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, taking selfies with the KodaCam was a community favorite back in March 2024 when Yuga Labs first invited BAYC members to explore the swamp during its “Apes Come Home” event.
At the time, Apes were encouraged to explore the swamp and take selfies galore, and they did!
