SOLANA SOMETHING: ApeCoin’s Spencer Says “$Ape Will Be All Over The Solana Ecosystem From Day 1”

From the swamp to the trenches ApeCoin is heading to Solana soon, and holders will have a ton of things to do from day one, according to ApeCoin’s Business Development Lead Spencer, AKA BlockChainZilla.

On Monday, the ApeCo team hosted a Space to talk about Project RAID, short for Rapid ApeCoin Integration Deployment, a new initiative aimed at hyper-financializing $Ape and making the token accessible to a whole new audience beyond ApeChain!

 

Over time, Project RAID will bring ApeCoin everywhere the broader Web3 space is,  but its first stop will be Solana later this week and getting it crosschain is just the beginning.

From day one, $Ape holders will have access to all sorts of activations, opportunities, and perks in the Solana ecosystem.

 

“We are going to be all over the Solana Ecosystem from day one,” Spencer said. “You’re going to see those announcements coming out in the next couple of days. I think its almost 20 different protocols where you’ll either be able get ApeCoin, use ApeCoin, bridge ApeCoin.. we aren’t interested in building bridges to nowhere. We are interested in building bridges to places where we can increase the utility of ApeCoin, increase the audience of ApeCoin, it’s all happening right out of the gate. Let’s Go!”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported s some of these dApps and protocols include staking in Meteora’s liquidity pools, collectibles on Drip Haus, trading benefits on Quanto’s perpetuals market, and sending $Ape via tweets with Banker.

 All these activations will turn ApeCoin into a “perpetual winning machine,” according to ApeCoin’s Head of DeFi 0xSimpleFarmer.

 

“The whole thing with RAID for ApeCoin is that it’s a compounding circle,” ApeCo’s Head of Defi 0xSimpleFarmer said. “ These protocols, these initiatives they all work together to amplify trading volume, mind share, user base for ApeCoin. And that’s why this is going to be a winning strategy. Right? We’re now in a new mindset. The mindset is perpetual winning machine for ApeCoin.”

 

Tonight, we do not yet know exactly when ApeCoin will go live on Solana but it is expected to happen later this week, according to the team.

 

“Rember official accounts for announcements,” Spencer stressed. “We’ll give you the CA when its ready. We will let you know when we are up and live on Solana.”
