SPOOKY SIGNALS?: A New Polymarket Bettor Named CasperSMC Wagers $37K On A Scary Future Where China Invades Taiwan This Year

A Polymarket bettor with a spooky name is predicting a scary future for the world after placing $37,000 USD worth of bets that China will soon invade Taiwan leaving many to ask: does this user know something, or are they just seeing ghosts?

Over the weekend, a new Polymarket user by the name of CasperSMC placed $33,000 USD on China invading Taiwan this year at $0.12 per share, along with another $3,000 USD wager that war will break out between the two before 2027.

 

Some on X are speculating that this bet could have been made by crypto YouTuber who uses the same name, CasperSMC. But nothing is confirmed tonight.

What we do know is that CasperSMC’s wager came just hours after the United States stunned the world by arresting Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, during a military raid on their home.

The pair were flown to the United States, where they now face multiple charges, including narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, and weapons-related offenses, as announced by Attorney General Pam Bondi.

  

If China does invade Taiwan by the end of this year or before 2027, CasperSMC could win nearly $300,000 USD.
