SPOTLIGHT: Bored Ape Yacht Club Couple Solvex And The1 Are Bringing Custom 3D Models To Life Around The Swamp And ApeChain

She’s always been an artist. He’s loved crypto forever. And together, these Apes are bringing NFTs off the blockchain and into the real world!

In late 2021, Bored Ape Yacht Club members and husband and wife  Solvex and The1 first aped into NFTs after helping their daughter craft her very first collection at just 16 years old. “That’s where our NFT collecting started,” The1 told the Gazette.

From that moment on, the couple collected NFTs from many projects that came and went.“Most of what we bought back then are no longer around,” The1 said.

But their love for NFTs never faded. Eventually, the pair decided to join the best club on the internet, each picking up their own Mutant Ape!

“We Aped in because we have wanted them so badly for 5 long years and we were finally able to get two awesome MAYCs,” The1 said.

 

Since aping in, Solvex and The1’s time around the swamp has been anything but boring. Together, they’ve been 3D printing and painting Primates, Mutant Hounds, Geez, Rillaz, Fisters, PixlPals, and more, bringing digital collectibles into the physical world.

"Founders from ApeChain have been amazing,” The1 said. “They have sent is an NFT to print and paint which we have completed for them in exchange for NFTs from their projects to cover our time. We then use the models to promote their projects. Which is on going with our pictures and models!”

For Solvex and The1, creating these models is truly a labor of love and they couldn’t be happier doing it together!

“We love working together and always have worked together for many years ♡♡ our art works well as we both work in our art studio on two computers along with all our art supplies printer easel etc, so it’s easy for us to work on projects together.”

Looking ahead, the couple is now taking orders and inviting anyone in the crypto space who loves NFTs and wants to bring them to life to reach out about possibly getting a custom model made.
