SUMMER IN THE CITY: From Pogs To Primates, ApeChain's NFT NYC Event At 21 Mercer Was A Vibe!

Pog out front. NFTs on display in the back. Customizable merch on deck. Immaculate vibes throughout. ApeChain summer in the city is on top!

As every degen knows, NFT NYC is all about the side events and ApeChain did not disappoint. On Tuesday, $Apes and Apes got together at streetwear designer Jeff Staple’s 21 Mercer store to celebrate the unofficial home of NFTs!

 

 

Before even stepping inside the store, the community was greeted with a blast, or should I say slam, from the past. Iconic ’90s brand Pog, which recently announced that its new home is on ApeChain, was posted up out front introducing $Apes to the game!

Inside, everyone was making customizable ApeChain x STAPLE t-shirts and ApeChain patch hats. Both merch items combined Ape’s gorilla logo with Staple’s iconic pigeon branding, while also incorporating various ApeChain NFT logos like TokenGators, resulting in anything but boring, one of a kind pieces perfect for any primate!

 

And because it's such a hot one in NYC today, you know the Ape Water and Bored Brewing booze were flowing all day as apes old and new chatted about the chain, caught up with creators, and even got their hands on exclusive Frens Chocolate bars made just for this event!

 

As attendees walked through the shop, they found tons of LED screens lighting up the back room with NFTs like Froglings, Geez, and more, spotlighting the artists who helped put ApeChain on top!
