Every swap can now become a sale, and trading fees can help support NFT floors after Clutch Markets rolled out its new perpetual futures exchange built with JPEG enthusiasts in mind.
On Wednesday, ApeChain’s native Clutch Markets launched Clutch Perps, a perp DEX where anyone can trade hundreds of coins with up to 100x leverage, while NFT collectors support their favorite projects one trade at a time.
“Trade like a degen, support your collection like a local,” Clutch Markets tweeted. “A % of every trade routes back into NFT floor protection, buybacks, and vaulting for whitelisted collections you choose.”
Tonight, traders can redirect a portion of their fees to support 32 different NFT collections, including Bored Apes, Pudgy Penguins, Meebits, HV-MTLs, Geez, Del Mundos, Pixl Pals, NightGlyders, Not a Punks Cult, MFers, and many more.
“Why trade on Clutch,” the platform tweeted. “You’re already trading onchain. Every swap, every perp position, it generates fees that go somewhere. The question is: should that activity only benefit the protocol, or should it also strengthen the communities you belong to?”
If NFT enjoyers begin redirecting their fees from legacy protocols, Clutch Perps founder and ApeChain’s Head of DeFi 0xSimpleFarmer says NFT collections could go parabolic across the board!
“Perps + token swaps are the biggest revenue engines in crypto,” he said. “If we capture even 1% of that, we can send the NFT market cap to the moon. Don’t get farmed. Be the farmer. “
Since launching earlier this afternoon, Clutch Perps has already collected its first NFT, a Clutch Puppy, and 104 wallets have pledged their trading fees to various NFT collections!
