Yuga labs, the parent company of the Bored Ape Yacht, released a list of 36 people and brands who invested in the company’s seed round.
While many quickly recognized some of the entertainers, athletes and brands, there were also several investment firms who aped in that are lesser known to the NFT community. Lets take a closer look at some of these investment firms below:
Sound Ventures is one of the 36 names listed as funding the seed round. Sound Ventures was co-founded by BAYC agent Guy Oseary and Ashton Kutcher in 2012, according to CrunchBase
Time Ventures is also listed as one of Yuga Labs seed round investors. Time Ventures is described as an investment fund for SalesForce CEO Marc Benioff, according to Cruchbase.
finally, another one of the seed round investors is Thrive Capital. Thrive Capital was founded by Joshua Kushner, the brother of Jarred Kushner, in 2009.
