The ApeCoin DAO's GWG Is Looking To Conduct A Sustainability/ Decentralization Study On The DAO

The ApeCoin DAO ‘s Governance Working Group is looking to hire a research firm to conduct a study on the ApeCoin DAO and find a path towards more decentralization and sustainability.

The ApeCoin DAO approved AIP-317 titled ‘ApeCoin DAO Governance and Operations Budget,’ last month which included funding for a Sustainability and Compliance study.

After the AIP was approved, Governance Working Group Steward Amplify made a Request For Proposal and is currently looking for a research firm to create an economic sustainably study and roadmap for the DAO that can put the community on the path towards a “decentralized treasury management structure.”

“We’re looking for quality R&D firms to submit a detailed study which outlines a path for the DAO to become self sustaining,” Amplify told the Gazette. “We would like recommendations and a roadmap towards deploying the DAOs assets such that we can meaningfully earn revenue in an endowment-like capacity. So the objective would be to cover our burn rate.”

Firms have between now and October 27th at 5 P.M. EST to submit their bids to the ApeCoin DAO by emailing their proposals to governancestewards@gmail.com

The Governance Working Group will then select which firm the DAO hires on November 1st and the firm will then publish their study on February 28th,2024.
