The BAYC Community Council Is Looking To Sponsor Bored Bashes Around The World!

The Bored Ape Yacht Club Community Council is launching a new program that aims to engage the community and bring the swamp to a city near you!

“Exciting news, BAYC fam,” the group tweeted. “We’re launching the new BAYC Council Tokenproof Submission Page to help you plan & host amazing ape community events! Get ready to network, learn & have a blast together!”

The goal of these local community events is to “connect & engage apes , showcase members' IP , educate on web3 best practices , create inclusive spaces , strengthen connections for virtual apes , and encourage ambassadorship," according to the BAYC community Council.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Yuga Labs launched the BAYC Community Council in October 2022 with the goal of helping Yuga Labs stay in touch with the community.

“Apes, we wouldn’t be where we are today without our incredible community,” the BAYC tweeted at the time. “We’re excited to announce the first BAYC community council made up of 7 long standing proactive community members to work alongside us moving forward. To help the community grow and thrive, we’ve assembled Apes with a proven track record of proactively and positively contributing to the club since the start. This council was formed with the intention of representing the club at large and providing an avenue for new perspectives.”

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the BAYC Community Council and will let you know when and where these events take place. Stay tuned for updates!
