MEMBERSHIP MILESTONE: The Bored Ape Yacht Club Exceeds 5,000 Members

Celebration erupts at the Bored Ape Yacht Club as club membership exceeds 5,000 members.

“The #BAYC has over 5000 unique holders! Unbelievable moment for NFTs,” BAYC member CryptoNFTs tweeted.

Bored apes began counting down each unique holder early Sunday Morning in the discord channel. Each new holder was means for celebration!

During the countdown to 5,000 holders, DJ Steve Aoki joined the the BAYC purchasing his first two apes.

After the club reached the 5,000 members, the BAYC tweeted to thank the community.

“Unreal. Thank you, apes,” the BAYC tweeted.

Later in the morning, apes took to discord to thank the BAYC creators for making all of this possible.

In response, BAYC founder Gordon Goner said, "It's all you apes, not us."
