2024 will be the year of the Ape as Yuga Labs explores ways to help Made By Apes business grow and thrive across the Yugaverse.
Nearly seven months after the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s Made By Apes initiative began, the program has grown from a few launch partners to an incredible list of 315 businesses utilizing their boring IP on everything from marijuana to horse racing!
“Wonderful to see this list continue to grow day by day,” Yuga Labs’ CEO Daniel Alegre tweeted this afternoon.“Apes strong together.”
While every Ape in the swamp is happy to see so many of their fellow primates building, many longtime BAYC members took to Twitter to give the company feedback on the Made By Apes website and encourage Yuga Labs to help these bored business get more visibility!
Following this comment, the BAYC’s Creative Director, Jeff Nicholas, tweeted that he and the team plan on improving the site throughout 2024 and working on ways to get more eyes on Apes!
“UI/UX changes centered around usability, better filtering, highlighting projects, and more to come later this year for sure," he said. “Still nailing things down, but supporting MBA is a priority for us this year and we hear all of the feedback around the current beta.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs’ Made By Apes program went live on July 24th and every bored builder is invited to sign up!
One of the main benefits of the Made By Apes program is that it adds more legitimacy to the products because Yuga Labs is confirming via on-chain data that these goods are, in fact, 'made by Apes!
