These Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Made A Trippy Trade Today

As the global economy tanks, a trippy trade went down at the Bored Ape Yacht Club this afternoon.

BAYC member ZeeJenkinz traded a pair of coin eyed bored apes with BAYC member Digging4doge for Bored Ape #5979.

Bored Ape #5979 is a six-trait trippy fur primate with hypnotized eyes a prison jumpsuit and a fisherman’s hat. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #5979 is the 825th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“Since none of us will make it while every market around us crashes, I felt the need to gain some prison expertise from this fella! I wanna S/O @digging4doge for such a smooth transaction. I'll miss my coin Apes, but they're in good hands.”

In the trade, Digging4doge received Bored Ape #1525 and Bored Ape #4570.

"“I was bored on a Monday," Diggingfordoge told the Bored Ape Gazette.

Bored Ape #1525 is a four trait black fur primate with coin eyes and a grin. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #1525 is the 528th most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.

Diggingfordoge not only received Bored Ape #1525 but also, he got Bored Ape #4570 in the trade. Bored Ape #4570 is a five-trait dark brown fur ape with coin eyes, a grin mouth and a striped navy shirt. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #4570 is the 9443rd most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.

While Digging4doge may have been bored, he explained that he has a method to his boredom.

" I still have a trippy full set (#6083) which is like a grail piece & I bought the 2nd trippy I traded today for 190e 2 months ago to flip, he explained. "I had it listed for 250 on the trippy floor & nobody offered anything close, then it was listed for 300 when everything pumped & still didn’t sell... I claimed the land from it & got offered 2 apes for it today one being a 4t so I figured it would be easier to liquidate and give me more options & more airdrops in the future if I chose to HODL..plus higher end pieces are harder to sell & I can list the floor one @ 1.4x the floor and earn $looks rewards passively on looksrare .org"
