This BAYC Member Flipped A Gold Fur Ape And Made Over $2,000,000 USD In Four Months.

Four months ago a Bored Ape Yacht Club member took a risk and bought a gold fur ape, today he sold it for over $2,100,000 USD.

BAYC member DFarmer.Eth went on a 48 hour shopping spree back in June that culminated with the purchase of Bored Ape #3928 for 25.5 Eth or $61,000 USD.

The gold fur ape, nicknamed “Honey” by DFarmer, is a six trait gold fur ape with heart sunglasses and a guayabera shirt. Based on these traits, Honey is the 265th rarest bored ape, according to Rarity Tools.

After the sale, DFarmer took to Twitter with a cryptic message regarding what he might do next. “Welp, I reloaded the coffers alright, he tweeted. “Next couple of weeks are gonna be fun...”

DFarmer sold Bored Ape #3928 to Opensea user 0xf507 in a bundle deal that included the gold fur ape’s matching number Bored Ape Kennel Club dog. The BAKC Dog is a brown fur pup with blue beam eyes.

After the purchase, 0xf507 continued on their shopping spree. At the time of this articles publication, 0xf507 has purchased seven mutant apes for 49.15 Eth or 167,000 USD and has several outstanding offers on MAYC apes.
