From the Swamp to the Nexus, Otherside Voyagers will soon be able to buy a feature called “Feels” on Amazon that can be used to express themselves in the metaverse starting next month.

Things were anything but boring on Thursday after Yuga Labs took to the timeline to announce the next phase of its ongoing partnership with Amazon; and this feels big!

“We’re bringing community IP to Amazon,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “@GeezOnApe&@ChimpersHQ lead the way with the first community Feels packs arriving in January. What are Feels? They’re gifs that pop above your avatar to show emotions in Otherside. Every Feel you collect goes into your emote wheels.”

“We want Otherside to be the best creator platform in crypto part of that is making sure that community creators share in the distribution channels we create,” Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted after the news.  “First we partnered with Amazon now we’re bringing community projects Geez and Chimpers to Amazon.”

As the Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs first announced its partnership with Amazon at ApeFest 2025, revealing plans to sell digital collectibles to Amazon’s more than 300 million users.

“For all this to work, we need to grow, and today we announce that Otherside will be on the front page of Amazon Gaming,” Yuga Labs’ Michael Figge said at the time. “That means we will look like this on Amazon. Amazon has over three hundred million users and we are going to be  selling digital assets to all of them.”

Since then, Amazon launched its Boximus Otherside avatar on October 30th. The 2,222 piece collection and gift wrapped the collectibles in wrapping paper in a Christmas update for the holidays!

As players get ready to catch Geez and Chimpers Feels next month, Amazon Business Lead William Morris shared why the company sees this integration as a major move.

“Community IP coming to retail is a big unlock,” he tweeted. “Digital expression, discoverability, and ownership- all meeting where customers already shop. Excited to see Feels land on Amazon.”

The Gazette will continue to follow all things Amazon on Otherside and is working to bring you more information on Feels. Stay tuned for updates!

This feels like a blending of Web3 creativity fnaf with Web2 distribution power — a way to give community projects visibility and legitimacy while enhancing the player experience.
