This High End NFT Collector Just Purchased A Trippy Fur Bored Ape For $50,000 USD

As the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s floor price continues to rise, there has also been an uptick in high end sales.

Opensea user SYNYSTER purchased Bored Ape #1119 from BAYC member BlockchainMacc for 25 Eth or roughly $50,000 USD.

SYNYSTER has been on a NFT shopping spree this week, purchasing high end curated Art Blocks and Crypto Punks.

Bored Ape #1119 is SYNYSTER’s only bored ape, according to Opensea data.

Bored Ape #1119 is a six trait trippy fur ape with a bored unshaven kazoo mouth, an angel halo and a leather jacket. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #1119 is the 319th most rare bored ape, according to Rarity Tools.

SYNYSTER’s high end bored ape purchase is just the latest in an uptick of high end sale activity. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Bored Ape #5979 sold for $42,000 USD early Monday morning.
