This Wallet That's Connected To A Whale Account Swept The Gucci Grails& Bought A Gucci Mega Mutant!

Things are Gucci around the Yugaverse after this anonymous wallet, that’s connect to a whale account, aped into an assortment of 10KTF Gucci Grails including a Gucci Mega Mutant Ape!

On Sunday, Wallet 0x10eC4Bf20Afb6f5Ea17303Cb67750b2c0f8c0055 went on a Yuga Labs shopping spree that started with a Bored Ape and ended with a 10KTF Gucci Grails sweep that included one of the most insane, and drippy, mutants in the collection!

Wallet 0x10eC purchased the Gucci Mega Mutant for 12 Eth or $23,100 USD, according to Opensea data.

Following the Gucci Grail sweep, many in the 10KTF community took to Twitter to speculate on who the buyer could be.

“I think this is the most significant sweep we’ve seen in this collection from a single wallet in a very long time - this is potentially the most significant purchase the collection has had,” Founder of the unofficial 10KTF Gucci Grail Community GrimyFrankie told the Gazette. “The Mega Mutant Gucci Grail was purchased for 12 ETH - which right now is nearly the price of two actual Mutant Apes. I think that whoever made this purchase has a lot of money and conviction. People in our community are speculating that it could be someone with inside information!”

While we do not know who own’s Wallet 0x10eC, we do know that Wallet 0x10eC is connected to a whale wallet that has 900 Eth or $1,739,000 USD at its disposal based on Etherscan transfer data.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported Yuga Labs recently entered into a multi-year partnership with Gucci and the two brands have big plans going forward.

“We are excited to unveil this multifaceted partnership with Yuga Labs, a leader and creative pioneer in web3,” Robert Triefus, Gucci’s senior executive vice president, corporate and brand strategy, and chief executive of Gucci Vault & Metaverse Ventures, said in a press release in March 2023.“This will give us an active role in Otherside and 10KTF’s continuing narrative, unfolding in multiple forms.”
