Two Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Are Competing In This Years NBA Finals

Bored Ape Yacht Club members Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins along with their team the Golden State Warriors are set to face off against the Boston Celtics for the NBA finals beginning tonight.





Tip off for the first game one of this this best of seven series is set for tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST. This will be Curry’s sixth finals appearance and Wiggins first.


Curry and Wiggins have both played great this post-season leading their team to series victories over the Denver Nuggets, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Dallas Mavericks.


During this post season, Curry is averaging 25.9 points 6.2 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game and Wiggins is averaging 15.8 points, 7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, according to Statmuse.


As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Curry joined the BAYC on August 28th, 2021, after he purchased Bored Ape #7990. Bored Ape #7990 is a five-trait blue fur ape with zombie eyes and a tweed suit. Curry paid 55 Eth or roughly $181,000 USD for his ape.





Wiggins joined the swamp a couple months after Curry on December 24th, 2021.


Wiggins ape is Bored Ape #8324. Bored Ape #8324 is a six-trait gray fur ape in a sleeveless logo tee. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #8324 is the 6316th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.





If the Warriors defeat the Celtics and win the NBA championship, then Curry and Wiggins will be the second and third BAYC members to win a champion in their sport after joining the swamp.


Earlier this year, BAYC member and NFL player Von Miller won the Super Bowl along with his team the LA Rams.
