WADDLING TO WALMART, TARGET OR BEST BUY: Pudgy Penguins’ Luca Netz Teases Vibes TCG Is Heading To A Big Box Store In 2026!

Move over Topps Chrome, Pokémon, and One Piece! A new competitor is getting ready to take up shelf space at a major retailer.

On Friday, OpenSea shared a tour of Pudgy Penguins HQ where the project’s owner, Luca Netz, revealed that the Penguins’ trading card game, Vibes, will be coming to a big box store this year.

 

“You will see Pudgy Penguins TCG in one of the major three big box retailers in the world this year,” Netz said. “Walmart, Target, or Best Buy. You’ll definitely see them in one.”

 

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Vibes is a digital and physical trading card game designed by Orange Cap Games, featuring Big and Lil Pudgy IP from around the igloo, and is filled with cultural references and nods to Web3.

 

 

While the exact retailer has not yet been announced, we do know that the game is on its third set following the successful Enter the Huddle and Legends of the Lils releases. We also know that this third set will also include Moonbirds IP.
