WELCOME A-BORED: Yuga Labs' New CTO Made A TwitterAnd Got An Ape. See His First Tweet Here

Tuesday was anything but boring around the Yugaverse as Yuga Labs’ new Chief Technology Officer joined Twitter, shared his Ape, and spoke directly to the community for the first time.

Nearly a month after Yuga Labs announced that Epic Games’ Executive Vice President of Development, Mike Seavers, would be joining the swamp as the company’s new CTO, Seavers finished his first week on the job and it was insane!

“My first week at Yuga has been exciting and anything but boring, Seavers tweeted from his new 0xMallocs Twitter account. “Excited to join the team and also join this incredible @boredapeYC community with my new Ape. How’d I do?”

Seavers' Mutant Ape is Mutant Ape #19938. Mutant Ape #19938 is a seven trait M1 Mutant with a red BAYC hat, a sleeveless Tee, and 3D glasses. Based on these traits, Seavers Mutant Ape is the 8010th most insane Mutant, according to Rarity Tools.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs’ CEO,Daniel Alegre, announced that Seavers would be joining the team on April 28th.

"Mike has a proven track record of taking organizations to the next level, and he shares our vision for how important digital identity and community will be for the future of the internet," Yuga Labs’ CEO Daniel Alegre said in a press release at the time. “We have an opportunity to be the web3 platform at the forefront of community and social engagement, through media and entertainment, and Mike's expertise will help us scale to achieve that.”
