Calling Birbs around the flock and beyond, clear your calendars this Monday, because collectibles marketplace DYLI will be opening more than 1,000 Moonbirds Birb Boxes in an event that can only be described as $BIRB-ish.

Late last year, longtime Moonbirds community member Spida decided to wet his beak and scoop up over 1,000 of the project’s first ever Birb Box physical collectibles, spending more than $25,000 USD in the process.

“Moonbirbs is probably my favorite NFT,” Spida told the Gazette. “ I missed Moonbirds mint but joined shortly afterwards. always been active. The Moonbirds community has been through a lot and stayed resilient. With Spencer leading the charge, Moonbirds has a real operator at the helm, someone who gets the moment, moves fast, has a solid team, and the right people around him."
Each Birb Box is confirmed to include a physical Moonbirds collectible, a Moonbirds trading card, and a QR code; which Spida believes could come with an allocation of the upcoming $BIRB token when its TGE takes place later this year.
“I think the QR Code gives $BIRB allocation (not confirmed) with 1% allocation for RWA across only 68,067 units at $500M FDV ≈ $75 in BIRB per unit,” he said.
While speculation is for the birds, we do know two things for sure. 1 Spida has a lot of boxes to open, and 2. Shipping and logistics can quickly become expensive and something to squawk about. So Spida reached out to his friends at DYLI and turned his unboxing into a live online event.
“Shipping to Germany was very expensive, so I sent them t oDYLI (1000$ instead of 5000$+5000$ Tax) they rip the packs, send me the QR codes, send the rare Trading cards to PSA and vault the rest.”
