Wiz Khalifa is living Young Wild& Free after ape-ing into the Bored Ape Yacht Club last night.
The notable rapper aped into a black and yellow cheetah fur primate, changing his Twitter profile photo to Bored Ape #1506.
Bored Ape #1506 is a five-trait cheetah fur ape with an eye patch and a grin smile. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #1506 is the 4891st most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.
Wiz Khalifa was onboarded into the BAYC through the crypto payment company Moonpay.
Moonpay purchased Bored Ape #1506 from notable BAYC member J1mmy.eth yesterday afternoon, according to Opensea data. Shortly after the purchase, Moonpay transferred the cheetah fur primate to the rapper.
Wiz Khalifa is just the latest rapper to be brought into the swamp by Moonpay and J1mmy.eth. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, J1mmy sold Moonpay a perfect cheetah fur ape set in December 2021.
Shortly after the sale, we found out that the cheetah fur set was for Snoop Dogg. “When I APE in I APE all the way in,” Snoop Dogg tweeted on December 21.
Shortly after Wiz Khalifa officially joined the BAYC, Snoop Dogg released an eight-song mixtape featuring the two of them.
