X Marketplace Announced That Users Can Purchase Any NFT On Its Platform With $Ape Now.

Bored Ape Yacht Club member Bradley Zastrow and the X Marketplace team made a major announcement about their platform that seems rather $Ape-ish for ApeCoin.

On Friday, X Marketplace took to Twitter and announced that users could now purchase any NFT listed on its platform with $Ape regardless of what currency the asset was listed in.

“To grow the @apecoin ecosystem it must be easy to spend,” X Marketplace tweeted. “A few merchants accept it but we must do more. We are doing just that Introducing ApePay from X Marketplace. Now you can buy any NFT with $APE directly. BuT wHaT iF iT's LiStEd In EtH? Doesn't matter anon. No, you don't need to convert it first + we take no fees At checkout buyers are given an $APE price + an option to pay w/ @apecoin It'll show your $APE wallet balance + a message if you don't have enough Nice, easy & seller is paid in the listed token ApePay from X LFG!”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported X Marketplace has been making waves around the swamp since it first aped on the marketplace scene in 2022.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, in September, 2022, Zastrow’s X Marketplace, a platform where 100% of marketplace fees in $APE sales are burned and 50% of marketplace fees for all other sales are burned, was one of three different ApeCoin-centric marketplace proposals that the DAO was voting on.

At the time, the community rejected Zastrow’s AIP and decided to go with Snag Solutions’ proposal instead.

After the DAO rejected Zastrow’s proposal, the X Marketplace founder continued to build and X Marketplace has now done over $1 million USD in sales volume since!
