NBA New Orleans Pelicans player, Josh Hart, has picked up his second Bored Ape.

As the price of Bored Apes has risen over the past few days, the fear of missing out (fomo) kicked in for Hart and he knew he had to act soon.

“Still haven’t bought my second ape yet,” Hart tweeted yesterday. “I need to get on that.”

Hart acted fast and within 24 hours of that tweet he purchased his second ape.

Hart purchased Bored Ape #6703 from Opensea user, Notaword for 6 Eth, according to Opensea data. Bored Ape #6703 was Notaword’s only ape, but this user does appear to still have two Bored Ape Kennel Club dogs.

After the purchase, Hart took to social media to introduce the BAYC to “MJ”

“Welcome MJ to the family, Hart tweeted. “As Drake said, ‘Dont Michael Jordan still got his hoop earring in?’”

Bored Ape #6703, MJ, is a six trait black fur bored ape with a bowler hat and, as Hart referenced in his tweet, a gold hoop earning.

Hart has been a member of the BAYC for quite a while now. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Hart purchased his first bored ape on June 7th from BAYC whale, Pranksy.

At the time, Hart paid 2 eth, a signed jersey and “more” for Bored Ape #4616. Today, Hart’s ape is worth at least 9.89 Eth, according to Evaluate. Market.
